Office 2013 クイック実行 Office 展開 - 4

もう少し更新バージョンについて簡易に運用できないか。そんなことを試してみた。

とした時、用意したリポジトリを使用し製品のインストールとアップデートが行われるのだけど、リポジトリにアップデートに必要な範囲で情報が存在すればいいのではないかということ。UpdatePath 属性の設定が無視される事象がなければよいのだが、今のところ見当たらないのでおそらくこんな感じなるのではないかと思った。ただ、オンライン修復を実行してしまうとカスタマイズした内容ごっそりと上書きされてしまうことはわかっている。


TargetVersion 属性が指定されていないときの製品の更新プログラムの確認には、v32.cab もしくは、v64.cab を参照していることを観測できたので、これらを管理することで概ね目標は達成できそう。

Add 要素 の説明には v32.cab / v64.cab に関する説明が添えてあって、

The default is to use the most recently advertised build (as defined in v32.CAB or v64.CAB at the Click-to-RunOffice installation source).

となってるから、アップデートについても同様ということなのでしょう。
なので、download モードで取得したファイルのうち、v32_15.0.xxxx.xxxx.cab / v64_15.0.xxxx.xxxx.cab をそれぞれ v32.cab / v64.cab にリネームして配置しておく。なお、キャビネット内の VersionDescriptor.xml をみるとバージョンに関する情報が記されている。

Administrators can turn off automatic updates to control which updated builds are deployed and when they are deployed. Monthly updates are recommended. 結構重要な情報だと思うのに日本語ページは更新されていないのですよね。
